Unlocking Agripreneurial Potential: Start-ups and Business Ideas Online Seminar

AgrarKontakte International e.V. (AKI) in collaboration with Bukura Agricultural College (BAC) recently concluded a transformative three-day online seminar from Wednesday, 9th August to Friday, 11th August 2023. The seminar was designed as a follow-up to the German-African Traineeship program and aimed to equip Alumni with valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance their already established agri-businesses and their business ideas.

The online seminar was enriched by the expertise of renowned practitioners in the field, delivering hands-on advice directly applicable to the entrepreneurial pursuits of the participants. Some of the key topics covered during these sessions included entrepreneurial traits, business plan development, sales and marketing strategies, funding and loan options, licensing and compliance requirements. Also, an extensive checklist to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape was presented.

One of the highlights of the seminar was the Alumni Experience Sharing, where successful former trainees shared their journeys in the agri-preneur sector. The invaluable experiences shared by these Alumni serve as inspirational stories for the current participants, encouraging them to pursue their own dreams and aspirations in the agricultural industry.
