FOOD TECHNICIAN - ONE (1) POST         V/NO. 13/2020

Salary Scale: Ksh.39,000 - Ksh.51,750 p.m.         BAC ‘8’

 Requirements for Appointment: -

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have; -

  1. Certificate in Dairy Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  2. Computer Literacy;
  3. Fulfil the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.                

Duties and Responsibilities: -

  1. To operate and assist in the general maintenance of the equipment in the processing plant.
  2. To assist with the preparation, distribution and storage of resources and materials.
  3. To assist with the upkeep of both stock and equipment records within the processing plant.
  4. To inform the plant manager of any health and safety implications as and when they arise.
  5. To assist with the preparation of ingredients.
  6. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the processing plant.
