Our dairy herd is a mixture of Friesian, Ayrshire, Jersey and Sahiwal breeds. The herd size is 115 cows. The average lactating herd stands at 35 cows with a daily average production per cow of 20 litres. Total production per day is in the upwards of 700 litres. This raw milk from the farm serves as the major supply to the college milk processing plant.

Our feeding regime is a mixture of good quality pasture paddocks and fodder in terms of quality silage and hay. Our cattle enjoys reliable supplements in terms of concentrates and mineral licks.
