Bukura students for internship in Germany

Bukura Agricultural College has signed a letter of intend to engage in students' intern­ship in Germany under the German-African Internship Program. Mr. Markus Rosskopf of AgrarKontakte International (AKI) signed for German partner during the visit to the Col­lege on 2nd October 2019 as part of the “Skills Initiative for Africa”. While Dr. Richard Wekesa signed for the College.

The skills initiative for Africa is a cooperation program for institutions of both practical training and higher education in Africa.

AKI is a German NGO in Baden-Wuerttemberg (Southern Germany) with over 30 years experience in international projects in the field of education and practical training in the agri-food sector e.g. trainee program for young farmers from Russia and countries coming to Germany to work and live on a German family run farm for 6 months.

According to Markus AKI is interested in a mutual beneficial working relationship with Bukura Agricultural College to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and practical experience in agriculture.
