Requirements for Appointment


For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: -

  1. Have at least ten (10) years relevant work experience in public or private institution two (2) of which should have been at management level;
  2. Have Bachelors’ degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
  3. Have Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Statistics, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
  4. Be registered with a professional body where applicable;
  5. Have a Certificate in Quality Management Systems, risk management or related field from a recognized institution;
  6. Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
  7. Have proficiency in computer application skills;
  8. Have demonstrated professional competence and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results; and
  9. Fulfill the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution.

Duties and Responsibilities: -

The officer will be responsible for Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the College.

The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail:

  1. Developing monitoring systems of the performance of the Board;
  2. Developing performance contracts for the Board;
  3. Developing strategies on improvement of performance; and
  4. Coordinating the preparation of quarterly and annual performance reports.
